Passionate about business communications
Seeking another challenge to complement his IT business, Simon started ontel in June 2015. Realising that the level of service from existing business communications providers was pretty poor, he thought there must be a better way and ontel was born.
Simon’s key values of passion, dedication and customer-focus are the foundations ontel is built on and his 30 years as an IT expert working with corporate and SMB clients gives him an invaluable insight into how businesses tick.
Splitting his time between Bristol and Chesham during the week, weekends revolve around family-time with a splash of researching new tech.
Your go-to telecom support services guy
Adrian joined ontel in October 2017 to assist Simon with the growth of the company – heading up the newly opened Bristol branch.
His role as consultant has him doing all sorts of things including porting numbers, configuring routers, setting up phone systems, ordering, installs and dealing with the day to day support requirements of all customers. Basically, he’s your go-to telecom support services guy!
He has always had a passion for all things ‘techy’ and at a young age built his first PC from scratch. He keeps up-to-date with all the latest tech news especially anything cloud telephony and business broadband related and has a very broad skill set which is utilised throughout the company.
Whenever he gets a bit of downtime he enjoys going for long walks with his young family, is partial to a bit of gaming and racing both RC Cars & Quadcopters.

Wants to make technology work for you
Meirion joined ontel in August 2020 to help Simon and Adrian continue to grow the business by taking on the sales, marketing and account management roles.
Meirion has a background in business management, sales and account management having previously been a client of ontel at the motorcycle dealership he ran; Meirion has hands on experience of running a small business and the opportunities and challenges that telecoms can bring.
Outside of work Meirion likes to spend his time making video for music, confusing his two young sons up and gardening.
